The Geographic Security System (GSS) is a comprehensive solution for safety and security built upon the state-of-the-art GIS technology, utilizing geography for better serving our communities.
GSS is composed of a set of suites streamlining safety and security related operations. The following section attempts to give a glimpse of the suites, which cover:
Resources Management Suite
GSS Resource GeoManager is a resources management application module used for manipulating resources (e.g. employees, vehicles, vessels, and aircrafts) used for emergency response.
Emergency E-911 Management Suite
The Emergency Management Suite provides effective emergency response to incidents starting from opening a new incident or call for service till closure. It can capture location of the incident from the call for service, assign classification & priority to the incident, check for duplicate calls, integrate with alarm systems, and integrate with CTI systems.
Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) Suite
GSS Computer Aided Dispatching (CAD) is an emergency resource dispatching application module used for computer controlled emergency resource (e.g. vehicles) dispatching, resource status, incident reporting, and management information.
Marine E-911 Suite
GSS Maritime Enhanced 9-1-1 is a marine emergency call center application module used for registration of incidents and calls for service.
Marine CAD
GSS Maritime Computer Aided Dispatching (M-CAD) is a marine emergency resource dispatching application module used for computer controlled marine emergency resource (e.g. vessels) dispatching, resource status, incident reporting, and management information.
CCTV Surveillance Viewer Suite
GSS CCTV Surveillance Viewer is an application module used for surveillance visualization using CCTV cameras.
360 Surveillance Viewer Suite

Traffic Management Suite
GSS Traffic GeoManager is an application module used for manipulating traffic flow aspects (e.g. road works and traffic control sign).
Mission Planning Suite
GSS 2D Mission Planner is an advanced application module used for mission planning in 2 dimensions (2D). It facilitates the sketching of operational drawings through readymade library of standard symbologies. Also, it facilitates the definition of risk locations (e.g. hazardous materials). The GSS 3D Mission Planner is advanced application module used for mission planning in 3 dimensions (3D). It facilitates the visibility analysis (e.g. line of sight).
Crime Analysis Suite
GSS Crime Analyst is an advanced interface used for crime mapping and geographical analysis of Crime Incidents (e.g. crime distribution, crime patterns, and hotspot analysis).
Location Based Services Suite
The location based services is an advanced application module used for identifying the location of the mobile.
Infrastructure Protection Suite
This suite is designed with the aim of enabling protection of national infrastructure.
Portable Mapper Suite
GSS Portable Mapper is a portable application module for mobile data computers used for manipulating incidents and discovering the surroundings while in mobile units (e.g. vehicles).
Dashboard Suite
GSS Dashboard is an advanced application module used as a real time statistical viewer.
Alarm GeoManager Suite
GSS Alarm GeoManager is an advanced application that adds spatial capabilities to an alarm system empowering operators by allowing them to identify the location of an alarm when it is set off, and accordingly taking the necessary response. Additionally, the application provides operators with the capability of ranking alarm incidents based on a selected set of criteria
Incident GeoManager Suite
GSS Incident GeoManager is an advanced application module used for geographical analysis and reporting of incidents and calls for service (e.g. hotspot analysis).
Extender Suite
GSS Extender is an advanced interface used for accessing all the data in the system (e.g. passport, driving licenses, etc.).
Common Operational Picture
GSS Common Operational Picture an application module used for near real-time single identical display of relevant operational information (e.g. events, incidents, and forces) shared by more than one command.
Task Force GeoManager
GSS Task Force GeoManager is an application module used for assignment of tasks/duties with respect to personnel, territories, resources, and call signs. This suite helps provide effective fleet management starting from planning of tasks/duties (monthly, weekly, and/or daily) to monitoring the fleet when in action.
